3D HALLOWEEN MAGIC POTION COUNTING ACTIVITY

Brew a magic potion and practice counting at the same time!

This hands-on Halloween printable features a 3D-style cauldron pocket that children can actually place the potion ingredients inside. Choose a Magic Potion Recipe Card, count each ingredient, then drop the correct number of pieces into the cauldron!

HOW DOES THE 3D CAULDRON WORK?

The cauldron is created using two matching layers:

• One cauldron layer has the green potion inside.
• The second layer creates the open front of the cauldron.
• Print, cut and laminate both pieces.
• Place the two cauldron pieces on top of each other and attach them around the edges, leaving the top opening accessible.
• This creates a pocket between the layers where children can drop in the Halloween ingredients.

No folding is required!

HOW TO PLAY

Choose a Magic Potion Recipe Card and look at the quantities shown. Children count the correct number of each Halloween ingredient and place them inside their 3D cauldron to complete the potion.

The different recipe cards make it easy to play again and again with new ingredient combinations.
