Bougainvillea-- yani begonvil bira tenekelerinin üzerindeki koruma aliminyumları kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Özellikle plajlarda devamlı atılan bu kapakları yine sahil kasabalarında en çok görünen begonvil çiçeği ile geri dönüştürmek istedim. 
Kullanılan malzemeler: bira kapak aliminyumu, kil, poliüretan köpük, akrilik boya, sprey boya, marker.

Bougainvillea is a piece that took over 7 months to complete. In Turkey beer cans have a protective aluminium sheet on top of the caps. Millions of these sheets are thrown to trash or unfortunately to the beaches all around my beach town. In order to reduce some waste and recycled I decided to use these sheets as a medium and created this intricate ivy like bougainvillea flower which is also something that we see around our beach town every single day. I wanted to highlight the beautiful nature of our town trough the trash that was thrown to this town.

Beer can aluminium, spray paint, acrylic paint, air dry clay and spray foam was used to create this piece on canvas.

The piece is ready to hang and the dimensional work wraps around the canvas.
