Butterfly

62 x 46 cm framed, 50 x 35 cm artwork

2024

Original artwork, collage (of magazines, psychiatric medication leaflets and packaging, my paintings and drawings on paper), acrylic, pencil and rollerball pen on cardboard; framed in wood

Artwork writes her poem and says,

Round World

Now I will tell you a tale.
Air is hazy… All is dream… Labels press down.
Swimmers drown in the landfill of concepts.
Reality changes. It changes every day.
Today is freedom.
Whatever has been learned,
Forget it... Shed the weight...
Partner, friend, child, sibling, mother, father, authority
And any other prison of duality,
Let it go… And feel that you are free,
That you stand in a great dream, where truth does not exist,
That fixed is invalid in a round world…
-The End-
