The book documents Dilruba Balak's illegal forest visits following the ban on Heybeliada's forests, which burned for three consecutive years, and the ironic aesthetics of the security cordons that enclosed the forests, as regulated by the Ministry of Forestry.

From the book:
"...I took the photographs in the book in the summer of 2023, during the forest restrictions that began immediately after the fires. I couldn't bear the addition of forests to the restrictions imposed on our lives under the guise of security, so I became a fugitive, wandering among the trees whenever I could..."
