Welcome to the Magic Carpet tutorial series!

In this tutorial, we'll be working on a tapestry design featuring an inverted crescent moon and star motif that I designed by using carpet motifs. The tutorial consists of two parts. The package includes both theoretical and practical videos. The first part discusses hand embroidery and natural dyes with a historical analysis. I explain Turkish mythology and cosmology by blending them with the Turkish intellectual tradition and art history.

Following the theoretical information, I designed the second part to be practical, allowing you to observe and experience what you've learned at home. The necessary materials list and instructions will be sent to your email as a file, and are also mentioned in the video. I'm also sending the tapestry pattern as a PDF in your email.
