The first issue of Velvet Corvus explores a range of topics, including the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram, the poetry of Shah Hatayi and Gnosticism, Tiamat and the Queen of Orientis, witchcraft herbs and collective fear, altar building, and Hindu conceptions of hell. Through both written and visual works, the issue approaches occultism from a variety of intellectual and experiential perspectives.
